In fact, it’s by being consistently good that you increase the probability of producing something occasionally great.
The body I have today is not because of the occasional amazing workouts I have here and there
It’s because of the consistently good workouts I have daily
That’s the 80% of the 80/20
It is by being consistently good we increase our probability of being occasionally great.
If I post 30 pieces of content there is a good chance 1 or 2 posts will be great
But if I do nothing, and hope to produce 1-2 pieces of great isolated content, the probability of producing something great is lower
Because I have less reps, less practice, less feedback and momentum.
You get better at the game by playing the game
…and it’s by playing the game you give yourself a chance for something to happen, when training in a safe isolated vacuum protected from public scrutiny you don’t push as hard and you can become delusional – cut off from the supply of real world feedback.
Who are you to judge?
Let the market show you
Sometimes I post something I feel is meh and it pops off and gets a amazing response
Sometimes I go into a workout feeling meh and it ends up being a incredible workout
Sometimes I go to a girl who I think isn’t that into me and ends up being really into me
Let the market show you
📜 “Judge not according to appearances but judge righteous judgement” – John 7:24
To not publish, ask, attempt is cowardice mentally disguised as ‘perfectionism’
You know damn well you don’t need to be perfect to produce results
You don’t need to be an expert, you just need a established level of working competence to see results
You don’t need an AMAZING crazy workout to see results in the gym, you just need consistent good and solid workouts.
Being consistently good beats being occasionally great
…and it’s by being consistently good we increase our probability of being great.
